The Stack Modular team has recently delivered a modular demonstration suite to the Vancouver market. The 1 bedroom unit boasts high-end finishes, quality workmanship and some of the latest in smart home technology. The unit is fitted out with a hydronic fan coil heating/cooling system and demonstration features like a structural connection display and mechanical shaft for plumbing connections between modules.
As modular construction has not widely been adopted in urban development, it is important for builders to see these details in person and touch and feel the quality achieved in a factory environment. Interest and enthusiasm from the local development community have been strong. Stack recently hosted a modular open house event in December which was attended by over 150 developers, architects, engineers, general contractors and city officials.
